Please note that we are currently upgrading our facilities. Work is scheduled to end next summer, so we are now able to consider booking weddings scheduled after November 1, 2017.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but offer up thanks to God for the opportunity to make our building more welcoming to all people!
Oak Lawn United Methodist Church, located in the heart of Uptown, offers a beautiful setting for your wedding. As magnificent as this Gothic structure appears on the outside, it is even more beautiful on the inside.
The interior of the Sanctuary is considered one of the finest in the greater Dallas area and has been declared a historic landmark by the City of Dallas. It offers seating for 250 on the main floor and, if needed, an additional 200 in the balcony. The church offers a pipe organ (details are available here) and/or grand piano for a variety of wedding music. Special arrangements may be made for guest musicians and/or soloists. The church tower houses a 32-note carillon that may be played at the conclusion of a wedding when the hour is not too late. Arrangements should be made in advance.
For more detailed information, please read our Wedding Policy (PDF).
Please send us an e-mail at email@example.com if you have questions about the wedding policy or would like to inquire about available dates.
