Because of your obedience to the mission Christ gave to us all, your Oak Lawn Community Outreach Center was blessed to make a real difference in the real lives of real people in Dallas County.
We have been busy at the Oak Lawn United Methodist Church Community Outreach Center! Since January 2009,

1,200 Clothing packs distributed by the Community Clothes Closet (1 pair of pants, 2 shirts and hygiene/underwear kit)

4,400 Meals served to neighbors in need at Gayle’s Kitchen Angels

50 Families were provided financial assistance which enabled them to stay in there homes and avoid foreclosure/eviction.

64 Households were saved from loss of water, gas or electric utilities
because of people like YOU.
Additionally, we created and cultivated relationships with the White House Office of Faith-based Community Initiatives, City Council Person Pauline Medrano and more.
As important as all of these ministry activities were, we look forward to working together to do even more in His Name in 2010!
