Giving is a spiritual practice of amplifying God’s love, investing in community and justice so all may belong.
Standing Up for Justice
God calls the church to challenge systems that diminish human dignity and to work alongside those seeking freedom, equity, and belonging. Justice is an expression of our faith lived out in the world.
“Let justice roll on like a river, and righteousness like a never-failing stream!” Amos 5:24 (CEB)
Serving our Neighbors
We encounter Christ by caring for one another. Through acts of compassion, generosity, and presence, we meet practical needs while honoring the sacred worth of every person.
“I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you gave me clothes to wear. I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you visited me.’ … ‘I assure you that when you have done it for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you have done it for me.’” Matthew 25:35–40 (CEB)
