Discover a space where tradition meets love, and history blends with joyful celebration. For more than 150 years, Oak Lawn United Methodist Church has been a welcoming place for couples and families, honoring the beauty of love in all its forms.

We believe every love story is sacred. Whether you are planning an intimate ceremony or a large celebration, we would be honored to help you mark this holy moment.

Our Venue

Built in 1913 and restored in 2020, our sanctuary offers timeless beauty with modern care. Couples and guests are often moved by:

Magnificent stained-glass windows
A stunning pipe organ
Seating for up to 300 guests
Excellent acoustics and natural light
Our Fellowship Hall is available for wedding receptions of up to 150 guests, offering a flexible, welcoming space for celebration and community.
We frequently partner with the Warwick Melrose Hotel Dallas, located just across Oak Lawn Avenue, making it easy to plan seamless wedding and reception packages between ceremony and celebration.

Whether simple or elaborate, your ceremony will take place in a space designed to honor love, commitment, and sacred promise.

Wedding Packages

We offer reasonably priced wedding packages to support a range of celebration sizes and needs

Civil Wedding – starting at $400+
Small wedding with pastor, no decorations
20–30 guests

Small Wedding – starting at $750+
Pastor-led ceremony with up to 50 guests
Rehearsal and standard decorations included

Traditional Wedding – starting at $1,500+
Full traditional wedding for up to 350 guests
Rehearsal and full staff support

Packages reflect starting rates. Additional services such as reception hall, AV support and required premarital counseling may apply. Oak Lawn UMC pastors can officiate weddings held in our sanctuary or in the location of your choosing.
